Spring into the magic and wonder of storytelling this school holidays with nature–‐inspired Springtime stories and songs for children at The Armidale Library on Monday 21 September with travelling storyteller Annie Bryant. Based in the Byron region, Annie weaves the simple magic of the natural world into a merry metaphorical journey of heartwarming tales and sing-a-long songs. Will Olinda ever find the courage to sing at the Springtime Ball and how did the clever bees help King Solomon solve a most difficult riddle? Inspired by nature’s seasons, Annie has spent the last year creating and touring her 4 CD Seasonal Collection of tales and songs for children throughout festivals, libraries and schools in Australia in her much-loved storytent. The Seasonal Collection celebrates the qualities of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter through a handcrafted combination of melodies and story aimed to not only entertain but also nurture kindness, courage, wonder and joy in children. ‘Springtime is such a fun season to celebrate. Everything in Mother Nature is waking up and we’ll certainly be joining in on nature’s party!’ says Annie. The Seasonal Collection has received much praise from children, parents and educators alike. Internationally acclaimed author of Healing Stories for Challenging Behaviour, Susan Perrow says, “Annie’s stories are simple yet wondrous, warm and wholesome –‐ a precious gift in this fast paced world.”  For more information visit
