The Rule of Law Institute of Australia (RoLIA) is a not-for-profit, non-partisan political body formed in 2009 to promote rule of law principles in Australia such as the presumption of innocence, right to silence, independence of the judiciary, accountability and transparency in government, as well as certainty and confidence in the legal system. The Institute produces education resources for school and university students, as well as making submissions to Parliament on laws affecting the rule of law.
