Whether it’s used for work or for fun, whether it’s motorised or runs off pedal power, whether it has legs or wheels, for the March Snapped theme ‘My Ride’ we want you to capture the ride that you and other people use to get around.

To grow your skills and learn with other local photographers, join us for this free 3 hour workshop in Armidale as we experiment with photo techniques, talk photo editing and learn how to share photos with ABC Open online.

Open Producer Tim Lehā will help you with any questions you may have about taking photos on your DSLR, smartphone, tablet, or compact camera.

Gear you may like to bring along include your camera, laptop and computer connections and tripod if you have one, however free equipment will be available if needed. We may leave the library premises for a photowalk; please wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes and consider bringing a water bottle.

Places are limited and bookings are essential. Contact ABC Open producer Tim Lehā on 02 6760 2453 or Armidale Library on 02 6770 3636 to register. You may also book online here: http://bit.ly/1fp3lSJ
