Armidale Dumaresq Council War Memorial Library
On Wednesday 24th July at 10.30am the Armidale Library will host the launch of the Northern Tablelands Digital Library. Part of a cooperative venture with four other local government areas (Guyra, Glen Innes, Inverell and Tenterfield) the Digital Library is part of our efforts to reach out to users who enjoy the convenience and practicality of downloading to their computers and personal devices. The Northern Tablelands Digital Library now provides access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, digital magazines and streaming movies. Ian Greenhalgh, library manager, recommends this new service
“as a way of expanding your universe. We are very pleased to offer an extra range of downloadable entertainment to our Library Members. The extra formats and publishers which Bolinda provide will supplement the wonderful Wavesound products already available through the Library website at https://armidalelibrary.wordpress.com/.”
As part of the launch a representative from Bolinda Digital will be present in the library from 10.30am to 1pm to demonstrate the new eBook service. Dylan Turnbull will be presenting a demonstration and training session to show you how intuitive and simple it is to use BorrowBox.
Dylan is enthusiastic about their product. “BorrowBox has arrived. The world’s most advanced digital lending service enables Northern Tablelands Library members to borrow, download and enjoy eBooks and eAudiobooks online and everywhere they go with the BorrowBox mobile app.”
Users are encouraged to bring along their devices so that Dylan and the friendly library staff present can help you learn how to browse, borrow and download all of your favourite eBooks and eAudiobooks.
